I have bad luck with weather in Atlanta. Seriously. Every time I’m there it rains HEAVILY. Like, more than normal for the south. Like, enough to shut down an entire music festival (cough cough, Tomorrow World). Some locals even believe that I bring the rain, but I think they’re just confusing the term with “make it rain” which I do ON THE REG.
Anyway, I happened to be in Atlanta on my birthday and of course it was raining so we did fun indoor things like going to the aquarium (highly recommend), visiting Atlanta’s first “cat cafe” where you drink coffee and play with cats AT THE SAME DAMN TIME, and obviously, ordering room service and watching overpriced hotel movies.
Room service is possibly my favorite part about staying in hotels. Waking up to blueberry pancakes and hot coffee delivered to your door without ever putting on pants is pure heaven. Oh, and the mini ketchup bottles are just too fucking cute. But I digress.
I’m not capable of doing much before I have my coffee in the morning, but the room had a massive window that covered the whole wall, so while I was waiting for my caffeine fix I had to snap some photos (sans pants). The fog engulfing the buildings outside made me think of dementors swooping around, sucking souls out of unsuspecting humans. Tight.
